PGT2025 Access and Tickets

Gardens are open from 1pm to 6pm, Sunday 22nd June 2025. Tickets can be purchased online in advance - see Tickets tab - or at the ticketpoints on PGT day from 12.45pm. Please use any of the main entrances to access The Park (see below), then make your way to the nearest ticketpoint to purchase your tickets. Adults (18 years and over) need to purchase tickets, under 18's accompanied by fee-paying adult are free!​

Parking is allowed in The Park on this one afternoon, and is free. But please do not park on double blue lines (and of course, do not block residents' driveways and garages). As you arrive into The Park, greeters will help direct you to the nearest parking and ticketpoint locations. Please note, as a private residential estate, there aren't any official parking spaces designated for blue badge cardholders - please see FAQs page for details of how to seek assistance on where to park.

Ticketpoint locations   
  • North Road​ / Cavendish Cres Nth  (nearest gate Derby Rd/North Rd)
  • Park Drive / Newcastle Circus  (central hub, access from any gate)
  • Lenton Road / Ogle Drive  (nearest gate Friar Lane)​

Main Gates (vehicular entrance)
  • Derby Road / North Road (NG7 1AF)
  • Friar Lane / Lenton Road (NG7 1DQ)
  • Castle Boulevard / Peveril Drive (NG7 1DE)
Parking is free to PGT visitors on this one day but please no parking on double blue lines, or in front of of residents' driveways and garages.

On foot or by bicycle
Use any of the vehicular entrances above, or the pedestrian-only entrances (walk your bike through), which are:
  • Park Road/Lenton Road
  • Harlaxton Drive/Barrack Lane
  • down the Park Steps from Park Terrace (well, not so great for cyclists admittedly, you'll have to carry your bike!)
  • either of the two pedestrian gates on Castle Boulevard  

By bus
35, 36, Rainbow 4, Indigo & Trent Barton 18 buses come from Nottingham City Centre and stop on Derby Road near the Park entrance. From Chilwell, Beeston or the University Campus as well as the City Centre, 13, 13X & 14 buses all stop on Castle Boulevard near the Park entrance.
